Club Philosophy

"To reach the individual's potential in swimming, and to instill good life values and abilities in swimmers, such as self-discipline and self-confidence, organizational skills, hard work and responsibility. Through competition swimmers learn to deal with success and failure, giving them an opportunity to prepare for life's experiences. Our team atmosphere offers the individual opportunities to develop social skills and to interact with swimmers of varied talent levels. We emphasise individual progress over winning. We feel our team can offer opportunities to help you become the best swimmer you want to be, as well as a stronger individual. "

Club Nights

Club Nights are held every Friday night at the Centenary Heights Pool, Ramsay Street, Toowoomba.  Warm up begins at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start.  We ask everyone to be there by 6.00pm as this gives us time to get the children organised so that we can get under way at 6.30pm sharp.  Club Nights are designed for the children to focus on their own individual swims and to try to better their own personal best times.

Parents are encouraged to come to Club Nights with their children and to help where they can.  There are lots of jobs including time keeping, marshalling and recording.  Club Nights provide parents a great opportunity to get involved in their child's swimming.

The last Friday of every month we hold a social Club Night.  This is designed so that the children and the parents can socialise outside the pool environment.  Some of these evenings will be used for parent/swimmer information nights.
