Queensland Long Course Championships

Academy have nine swimmers who have qualified for the QLD Long Course Titles:

Six  Academy swimmers have been selected in Darling Downs Relay Teams:

We are also sending two club relay teams a 10 Year old boys team:

and a 12 Year old girls team:

Birmingham Distance Challenge

On Friday night Academy held it's annual Birmingham Distance Challenge.

A large number of swimmers nominated for the event  which is held over three distances and three different age groups.

All swimmers that competed did a fantastic job.

Club Nights
Friday, 20 June 2008

Club nights will be held at Centenary Heights on Friday nights starting with warm up at 6.00pm and racing at 6.30pm.

These nights are a great way to practice for carnivals and meet new friends.

Bronze for Adam Paroz

Academy's Adam Paroz  won a Bronze medal in the 100m Backstroke Final at 2008 Australian Age Championship which was held in April at the Chandler Swimming Complex in Brisbane.

Congratulations Adam on a great performance.

(try to wake up to go swimming in the mornings ha ha)

Adam Paroz has been selected in the 2008 QUEENSLAND SECONDARY SCHOOL SWIMMING TEAM to compete at the Pacific School Games in Canberra from the 29th November to 7th December 2008.

Congratulations Adam.
